In Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus tells the Parable of the Talents. The parable is about a master who entrusts his property to three servants according to the abilities of each one.
Little did I know that reconnecting with nature and my inner being would help me reconnect with God, too.
When I was young, my family used to gather around the dinner table every evening to enjoy a meal together. It was our special time to thank God for family, faith, and food, even if that meant praising the Lord for takeout.
I began smoking cigarettes when I was a teenager, partially to spite my parents. They were incredibly kindhearted and involved in the church, but in my eyes, they were controlling. So was the doctrine they prescribed.
